Babington House Wedding Photography | London Wedding Photographer

Babington House wedding photography by London wedding photographer Mat Quake. Babington House and it’s 17 acre estate date back to Georgian times. A traditional English country wedding setting with a bohemian twist, nestled in the middle of the rolling Somerset hills. The wedding ceremony takes place in the Babington Chapel, St Margarets Church. On a sunny day the grounds surrounding the house and chapel are a lovley place to enjoy champagne and canapés after the ceremony. The lake, gardens and house offer a superb backdrop for contemporary, candid wedding photography.

This has been one of my favorite venues to photograph at this year. I was recommended to Duncan and Lisa through a friend and after meeting them for the first time we immediately hit it off. Since this was the first time for me to photograph at Babington House I arrived about four hours before I was due to be with Lisa and the girls for their getting ready photos. This gave me ample time to explore the grounds thoroughly and ensure I knew exactly where I wanted to take their formal family photographs as well as beautiful shots of them both as husband and wife. Here is a selection of natural, contemporary and creative documentary wedding photographs from Lisa and Duncan’s wedding.

{Alex & Abdu} Ridge Farm Studio Wedding Photography

This post features Ridge Farm Studio wedding photography from Alex ad Abdu’s wedding last year. I have decided to blog this wedding again because all the couples I meet love the photographs. It was also published in two wedding magazines earlier this year so I think it deserves another piece of publicity. Alex and Abdu booked me for two days. The Saturday included a traditional blessing in the gardens of the lodge. The Sunday saw our happy husband and wife take part in a traditional Sudanese ceremony. It’s always an extra special privilege to be part of something more unique than the average wedding ceremony, especially when your given the opportunity to experience another culture. Enjoy some of the highlights from the two days.
