One Whitehall Place Wedding Photography by London Wedding Photographer Mat Quake featuring a really early sneak peek of Hannah-Fleur and Alex’s fab wedding. I truly love this venue. There are few places in London as prestigious as One Whitehall Place, with its high ceilings, grand marble staircase, glittering chandeliers and spectacular views over the River Thames and the London Eye, it’s a magnificent setting for weddings. For Alex and Hanna-Fleur’s sneak peek I’ve pulled out a few shots that stood out whilst browsing their image catalogue. A combo of natural moments and softly directed photographs. Capturing them in the library with the books as a backdrop was an important aspect of the pre-wedding planning when we spoke about what they wanted.

Hannah + Andrew | Portmeirion Wedding Photography

My final wedding of the year before my winter break, a wedding at the wonderful location that is Portmeirion, with Hannah and Andrew. We instantly hit it off when we met in London a few weeks before the big day. I was really looking forward to capturing their wedding, not only because it’s one of my favourite venues in the UK to shoot at but also because they were just such a lovely, friendly and down to earth couple, I couldn’t wait to work with them. With the weather on our side, the day started off with some photographs of the groom and best men, followed by the service, reception and wedding breakfast, with some great speeches and lovely reactions captured. I have picked out a few pictures that I think capture some great moments from the day. Best wishes to them both for the future and thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture your day.

Philippa + Ben | Brewerstreet Farmhouse Wedding Photography

Philippa and Ben booked me over a year ago to photograph their wedding, through recommendation, so we only actually met for the first time a couple of weeks before the big day. We decided it would be a good idea to meet at the venue, Brewerstreet Farmhouse, Bletchingley, Surrey. I hadn’t photographed there before so it was a great opportunity to familiarise myself with the set up. I instantly liked them both, they were very easy to get on with and laid back about the day. We chatted about their requirements for photographs, they were keen to not have any pictures during the service, which I totally respected. We had a walk around the grounds and decided where the best spots would be for pictures of them both and their families. Here are a few highlights from their day, a little taster of what is to come, moments shared between them both, friends and family on a day that I hopt they will cherish forever. Best wishes to them both for the future.

The Petersham Wedding Photographer | Sarah + Giles

The Petersham Hotel is a lovely location for intimate weddings, with some lovely spots for photographs around the surrounding grounds and in the hotel itself. Nadine + Andy | Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photographer

I have been a Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photographer for over five years now, it’s my local wedding venue and one of my favorite spots to capture weddings. Nadine and Andy booked me early last year to capture their wedding. We met at the lodge, which was a great opportunity for me to show them around and share some thoughts and provide some recommendations for photography during their day. They are a lovely, down to earth couple and so I was really pleased when they booked me. The day started with some getting ready pictures and a service in Earlsfield followed by the wedding reception, wedding breakfast and and evening party at the lodge. We were lucky to have such a crisp winters day and this made for some lovely sunset photographs of them both, which is always a real treat at Pembroke Lodge as it has such lovely views. I wish Nadine and Andy all the very best for the future, it was a pleasure capturing your day, enjoy some of my favorite moments.
