About

By now your wedding day planning may well be in full swing, which is pretty exciting. I know how exciting it is because I have been through it all myself and there is nothing quite like planning the day that celebrates, with the closest people to you, the person that you want to share the rest of your life with. It’s a pretty big deal and it should be. I look back at the day I married my wife Fi and it always makes me smile. As soon as the door opened and I saw her in her dress for the first time life just seemed to fit into place in an instant. You never forget moments like that, no matter how much time passes by. That’s why I love my job so much, I get to capture those moments for couples, and it’s a job a value wholeheartedly. Wherever you are, whoever you’re with and whatever the weather you’ll have an amazing time and I very much hope I’ll be the photographer to capture it all for you.

I can only presume by this point that you’re on this page because you have liked what you’ve seen so far and you want to know a little bit more about the person behind the camera. The best way to do that is for us to meet in person, but here is a little snapshot for now. I love what I do, I can’t say it any other way. I have always had a fascination with documenting people and capturing natural moments with my camera. Wedding photography as a career path made sense to me in so many ways, providing the perfect occasion to share my passion for storytelling through the lens. Every wedding is unique, there is never a dull moment and each experience always puts a smile on my face.

My general approach on the day is to blend in like a guest. I am happy to get in amongst the action, chat to guests when appropriate, make them feel at ease in my company, photographing in a polite, respectful and subtle way. I am confident in organising confetti photographs and posed family portraits, making the process quick and easy going for all concerned.

In terms of style, my photography is very documentary in nature, in the way it captures people, personality, moments and in the way it tells the story of your day. But I don’t just point the camera and shoot, I’ll leave that job to your guests. I have a much more considered approach to how I take my images, creatively thinking about framing, light and location to create photographs that are interesting, unique and beautiful.

I would love to meet with you both, to hear about your plans and discuss how I would approach telling your story. You can get in touch through the contact section or, better still, just call me. I am often out and about on location so my mobile number will be more convenient for you most of the time, it’s 07745 062 452.  I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting you in due course, the coffee and cake is on me!
